Removing a DPF allows access to its core and channels. Our Flash Clean process combines water-based cleaning with controlled air pulses to flush accumulated deposits from the filter.

Each filter is assessed first. Cracks, internal damage or contamination may affect whether cleaning is suitable. We explain the condition and the recommended next step.

  1. Inspect & test

    Check for cracks, damage and oil contamination, then record the initial flow.

  2. Prepare

    Remove loose soot and surface carbon before the main cleaning cycle.

  3. Deep clean

    Use the hydrodynamic cycle and air pulses to flush deposits from the channels.

  4. Dry

    Complete the drying stage before the cleaned filter is tested again.

  5. Retest

    Measure flow and back pressure after cleaning and compare the results.

  6. Report & return

    Provide before-and-after results with the filter, ready for your refitting arrangements.

Does the filter need to be removed first?

How long does off-vehicle cleaning take?

Turnaround depends on the filter’s condition, the cleaning required and current availability. Ask about the expected timing when booking, particularly if the vehicle is needed for work.

Can every blocked filter be cleaned?

We inspect the filter before treatment. Cleaning can remove deposits, but it does not repair cracks or other physical damage. We will discuss the findings if the condition makes cleaning unsuitable.

Will I receive test results?

Yes. Initial and final flow testing are part of the process, with before-and-after results supplied so you can see the outcome and retain it with your service records.
